As a member
of the Town Council, I have benefited from Vice Mayor

the General Plan Committee, he successfully led efforts to
update our vision for the future. His leadership is

Campaign Promises
Economic Development:
We will approve a new General Plan in May that lays out
economic centers and corridors for the Town’s build-out. I
will continue to work to fulfill the goal of making Gilbert
economically viable, sustainable and renewable community. I
will continue to work to attract quality jobs, energy and
cost-saving opportunities for the Town, while maintaining
the lowest tax rates in the Valley.
Quality of Life: We
all moved to Gilbert for its quality of life. Businesses
move here for the same reasons. Gilbert must continue to
provide its rich cultural, educational, and recreational
opportunities for its residents. Gilbert continues to be
recognized nationally being a great place to live, work and
play. My commitment is to continue to enhance these
opportunities through partnerships with public, private and
non-profit entities.
Public Safety: Gilbert is ranked as
the 17th safest community in the nation and #1 in Arizona.
This was accomplished by the commitment of the Town, the
schools districts and you, our residents and business
owners. Keeping you safe is not just a promise, it has been
my commitment for the past 12 years and will be into the
future.

behalf of the Arizona Police Association I am
pleased to announce our endorsement of Mr. Les
Presmyk for the position of councilman in the City
of Gilbert.
"Mr. Presmyk has worked diligently
on Gilbert employee wage issues, working conditions
and welfare in the past. He has demonstrated a
desire to make a difference for the citizens of
Gilbert and its employees which is recognized by not
only the Gilbert Police Leadership Association but
by the local homeowners associations to whom they
(the association) are affiliated and support. Such
attributes deserve the attention of the APA and
weighed heavily in our endorsement decision," says
